Obituary of Paul A. Martin

Delmar- Paul A. Martin, 79, died suddenly on Sunday July 29, 2018 at his home. Paul lived on Pangburn Rd. all his life. He was the son of the late Leroy and Anna Martin and beloved husband of 57 years to the love of his life, Carole Martin. Paul worked with his brothers on the family farm until his father's death. He then went on to drive his own coal delivery truck and work for D.A. Collins, before working for many years and retiring from Callanan's Industries as a foreman in 1999. Paul was an avid deer hunter and trapper. He loved to fish with his family in Polaski. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and loved woodworking in his workshop. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by his daughter, Theresa Micheli and his 10 siblings. In addition to his loving wife Carole, he is survived by his three daughters, Janice Crookes (Steve), Kathleen Kuhl (Bill), Cynthia Seager (Jim); 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Janice Britt (John). As per Paul's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box E, Clarksville, NY 12041.
