Such a compassionate, gentle, strong fighter for his patients this amazing nurse was, such a gift. From his arrival on our unit he was one of its mainstays. After mentoring him that first day, I asked Barb to let me do the job again the next day, because he'd taught me so much. He asked for nothing, except he always had to have the first day of trout season off. I still think of Jim very often, grateful that I was privileged to know him. After so much selfless effort for others, rest in peace, Jim. We will all miss you.

I was saddened to learn of Jim's passing. Jim was in my homeroom for three years at Mont Pleasant High School. Good guy. Good wrestler. Jim's photo depicted that same old grin. Not a big toothy smile, just a knowing grin.
I remember that after high school Jim bought a mid 60's sea green Chevy Nova. He sold it, had "seller's remorse", and later bought it back.
I'm happy to see that he was married for 45 years, a rare occurrence in today's world. I always thought highly of Jim.
BEAUTIFUL photo memorial.

Jim was one of the most amazing and compassionate nurses I have known. We worked together when he was hired to the Burn Unit AMC. Despite the work we always found ways to laugh.
When Jim left and moved on to other areas we would see each other in the hallways or elevators and speak about our girls.
I know you are shining down on us brightly Jim...... may your family find comfort in knowing all the lives that you touched in such a positive and uplifting way.

So sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. We were classmates and teammates on the MP wresting team. We also both attended Brockport together. He was a wonderful guy and a great wrestler. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

“Jim if you could give one piece of advice of something you’ve learned while nursing you could give us, what would it be”
