Dear Tina, Nini, and Lollie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. So many memories - of all of you. I'm happy that I tracked him down a few months ago and we had a nice phone visit after so many many years of not being in touch. I was prompted to call him to tell him that I had taken the beautiful table that he had made for me decades ago out of storage and was using it again. I wanted to properly thank him for it because at the time he made it I/we was/were too young to have sense enough to know just how beautiful the table really is. I'm so thankful I was able to tell him. He will be missed. Much love to you all, Sandy Wilson

Tom was leader of "Proud, patriotic pundits of Placid", a group of less than a dozen with common interests in keeping USA freedoms. An engaging gentleman and scholar who expressed his love of family, country, Adirondacks, pets and wild animals alike. An epicurean of knowledge emanating in ancient Greece and brought forward for our enjoyment

My dad treasured all of you and your times together, especially the summer gatherings on the deck in LP! Also the daily group emails, even to the end. Thank you for being such a great friend to my dad. He loved all his "cronies." ~Nini

I will always remember the great zeal and passion Tom had for everything. He took charge of whatever was in his path. When Pascal came to the US, I remember all the hundreds of labels on everything in the house! The burger wasn't just a burger—it was amazing! He had an gleaming smile that lit up the whole room and what a jokester. He was so proud of you girls.
