Obituary of Mary Louise "Marylou" D'Alessandro

Mary Louise D’Alessandro – Fort Wayne, IN

Mary Louise D’Alessandro passed away peacefully on October 03, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.

Marylou was born in Troy, New York to William Victor Krause and Catherine Ann (O’Neil) Krause.  She was raised and attended school in Watervliet, New York.

Marylou was a very successful businesswoman.  Her talent in sales would one day lead her to being head of sales for Dow Corning Silicone Division.  While sales kept her busy, family was the center of Marylou’s life.  She was always there for anyone who needed help; as well as a thoughtful ear to listen.  In her final years, Marylou never lost that drive and very much enjoyed planning family events and holidays.  

Marylou is survived by her beloving son William (Andrea) D’Alessandro of Fort Wayne, IN, sister Catherine (Robert) Ryan of Latham, NY, and brother William N. (Susan) Krause of Cohoes, NY.  As well as her grandchildren Ayden D’Alessandro, Ashley Scatena-Bond, Trent Scatena, and Anna Scatena and several nieces and one nephew.

Family would like to express appreciation to Stillwater Hospice who provided comfort and companionship to Marylou and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Rd. Latham, NY on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 9:00 am.  Mass will be followed by the interment in St Agnes Cemetery in Menands, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in memory of Marylou D’Alessandro to Stillwater Hospice located at 5910 Homestead Rd. Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
