Rest In Peace, dear uncle Pete. My deepest condolences to my sweet aunt Sylvia. I learned a lot about driving from uncle Pete and I frequently find his words coming out of my mouth-especially when I get stuck in traffic. I also remember how he would show us kids the cool things he’d made in his electronics lab and no matter how many times he would explain and show us how he made them work, I was unable to retain any of that knowledge. I also remember how he would feed his beloved dogs from his dish before sitting down to a meal. He was soft-spoken, which made his off-the-cuff quips all the more funny. I remember thinking he had truly found his people when he zealously described his bocce ball colleagues.
He will be greatly missed.
