Obituary of Lois A. Gall

Lois A. Gall, 93, formerly of Cherry Ave., Delmar, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Lois was born in Albany on October 1, 1928, the daughter of the late William Paul and Dorothy Mae (Van Patten) Atkinson and graduated from Albany High School in 1946.  Her life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren, always being involved in their various sporting and social activities.  Her enjoyments included doing crossword puzzles; playing cards, especially bridge; and she loved watching TV, which was on from morning until night.  Lois had been a charter member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1955).  She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Ernest W. Gall, in 2008.

She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Denton (Matthew); a son, Kenneth Gall (Deborah); and four grandchildren, Kasey and Kaitlin LaPierre, Ashley Lawrence (Adam) and Evan Gall. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 12 from 9 to 11 am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave., Delmar.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am at the Church.  Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
