Michael Anthony Belloise, 61, passed away on October 3, 2021, from a brief illness. Yorktown Heights, NY was the town he called home for the majority of his life. Most recently Mike relocated to the Capital District to be closer to family.

As a teenager Michael was on the high school basketball and track teams where he stood head and shoulders above many of his peers with his almost 6' 3" height. After High School he spent about two and a half years at Columbia University's School of Engineering. He completed his Bachelors degree with a double major in Computer Science and Math from Excelsior College. His intellect and desire for learning was something Michael pursued and enjoyed throughout his life. He was always surrounded by books and enjoyed gifting them to others. He studied many interests such as science, mathematics, and mechanics to learning about dog breeds and building houses. Books were a constant companion to Michael with endless possibilities for his bright mind to explore.

As a young man Mike was a member of the Army Reserves and worked for several years for New York State as a computer programmer. Michael enjoyed spending time considering how he might make the world a better place with ideas for improving cars, smarter ways to generate energy and generally anything that could possibly help humanity. This was an ongoing passion of his throughout his life. Michael also really loved dogs and in his adult life he often had one by his side. Over the years they brought him a lot of joy. Some of Mike's other hobbies included listening to music and talk radio as well as being outside thoughtfully considering his newest big idea. He never lacked purpose as he always kept his intention to try and help mankind and he did his best in life.

Although he faced adversity in life, Michael handled it with a calm demeanor that showed a strength of character and stamina that was truly admirable.
