Ron Kennedy came to work in my office when I served in the New York State Assembly. My initial impression was that he was young, quiet, solid and very observant. He also had a terrific smile and a great way with people. What I didn't know at the time was that he had a will of iron and, when he determined to get something done, it got done. He quickly learned the process of legislating and became a master in understanding the politics and dynamics of the legislature itself. He also met and fell in love with his wife-to-be, Honor, while there. Law school, marriage & the family all followed. His experience in the legislature was good background also for his long and distinguished career with the New York Bar Association.
I was fortunate to have met and been a friend of this great man.

I knew Ron in his professional ,as well as his personal life. At the State Bar meetings he was always polished and smooth with a deft touch for the tough issues and people. In Delmar,he was always bright and cheerful and proud of his children and happy with the life he had with Honor. I drove by his house a thousand times and he always had a wave and a good word.
God Bless You Ron,I was glad to know you.
