I grew up on Kenwood Ave a block or so from the Kellehers. I was a companion for years to his son Bill. The elder Bill inspired my love for the outdoors. With his faith and trust, two barely 15 year old boys were dropped off alone at a trailhead on Stillwater reservoir.After a long mile portage with heavy packs and a canoe we reached our home for the next week, an adirondack leantoo.We survived, living on trout and froglegs after most of our food was pillaged by raccoons.Thank you for this memory.My prayers and condolences go out to Dorothy,his children and grandchildren......Doug Keeble..troutbumdad@gmail.com
