We are so sorry to hear of Connie's passing, she was the most kind and wonderful person. From the moment we moved next door, Connie was like a surrogate grandmother to our kids. My boys loved their visits with Bob and Connie, especially the special cookies Connie would always have on hand for them. She never failed to indulge our boys with showing off her cuckoo clock, even when they asked twenty times. We so enjoyed many hours visiting and Connie was such a special and lovely person.
Bob, we are thinking of you in your time of great loss and wishing you well.
Love,
Beth and Jim Nalbone

Dear Sweet Bob... I know your heart is broken, as many are. You found a very special lady when you found Connie! What an amazing life you two have had together and we were so lucky to live next door to you both! You touch our hearts and have many special memories! Our favorite was looking over at dinner time either you in the Dining room or on the porch sitting down to dinner as we were, bowing your heads, saying a prayer and then kissing Connie’s hand! To this day that is my kids Favorite memory! I have many, the most is the love and kindness that Connie and you gave to us! They are in my heart for always and when they come to mind, brings a smile to my face. Always remember that Connie is still with you and will guide and love you through this next journey of your life! We will all miss her, but she will shine down on us! Love you Bob sending a big hug and will include the picture of us in VT at your time share many summers ago!

Connie (and Bob) was like family to us. Moving in three houses up the street from us in 1967, she and Bob became friends for life, along with Karen and Kathy. Connie was such a positive, happy, giving person to everyone she met. She was always up for an engaging conversation. And when our parents’ health declined in later years, she and Bob were right there, bringing food, love and a listening ear. Always with a smile, she exemplified and lived out her faith.
Connie will be deeply missed by our family and by the town of Delmar. We offer our deepest sympathies to Bob all of her family, whom she loved so very much and of whom she spoke so fondly.
