Obituary of Patricia Conophy

DELMAR: Patricia M. (Sartori) Conophy, 42, entered into eternal life on April 3, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Peter T. Conophy, her two beloved sons Alain Ackerman and Peter T. Conophy Jr., and her precious daughter Jamie. Born in Hudson, NY, Patty is the daughter of the late Marcia Sartori. She is also survived by her father Frank (Marji) Sartori, her sisters, Maryann (Robert) Doran, Gina Marie (Keith) Shufelt, and her twin brother Michael Sartori. Other survivors include Joseph (Marianne) Conophy, Patricia (Michael) Giberson, Theresa (William) Dillon, 16 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many friends. Patty worked as the Mailing & Fulfillment Supervisor at Velocity Print Solutions in Scotia, NY. Friends and relatives may call Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 9:30 am at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be sent to the Jamie and Peter Conophy Scholarship Fund, c/o TD Bank, 343 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054.
