Obituary of Ann Heilmann

DELMAR -Ann Heilmann, 93, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy. Born in Albany, Ann was the daughter of Anna and Richard Fennell. She was predeceased by George, her husband of 67 years. Ann was a longtime resident of Delmar. She worked for the NYS Education Dept. until retiring to live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the winter months and Sacandaga Lake for the summer months. Ann is survived by three children, Martin R. (Joan); Connie (John) Dickinson and Tina Heilmann; grandchildren, Holly (Joe) Camillo, James Parker, Nikole Heilmann and Kellie Parker; and great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Gabrielle Dickson and one nephew, D. Martin Heilmann. A special "thank you" to the staff on the 3rd floor at Heritage House and nurse Michelle for the care given to Ann. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 28th from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Saturday, March 29th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205.
