Obituary of Ann F. Gola

SLINGERLANDS - Ann F. Gola, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Ann was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on February 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Terrence and Clarice (Dikeman) Hoverter. She was a devoted wife who dedicated herself to raising her four children. She was an avid gardener and baker, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ann is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert C. Gola; children, Timothy M. (Michelle) Gola, Robert D. (Bridget) Gola, Jill C. and Susan E. Gola; four grandchildren, Emily, Brendan, Reece and Evan; and sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 3 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar.
