Obituary of Edyth Guyer

DELMAR - Edyth A. Guyer, 91, of Delmar, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Edyth was born in New York City on September 1, 1921, the daughter of the late Woodbury and Rita (Sorensen) Auty and lived most of her life in Delmar. She was one of the founding members of the Bethlehem Community Church and will be fondly remembered for her love of food and entertaining. Edyth was predeceased by her husbands, Ralph (Pete) and Paul Guyer. Survivors include her children, Greg (Noreen) Guyer and Robin (William) Roffman; a sister, Robin Schaap; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 11th from 4 to 6 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, January 12th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Capital City Rescue Mission, P.O.
