William P. Stannard

DELMAR – William "Bill" P. Stannard, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, with his family by his side. Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Myrtle Cross Stannard; his sisters Delores and Edith; brother DeWitt and his son Stephen. He is survived by his children, Michael (Maryanne) Stannard, Brenda (Bob) Stannard, Ken (Kathie) Stannard, Ed (Nanette) Stannard and Jeff (Laura) Stannard; his brother Midge and sisters Frances and Shirley; grandchildren Stephen, Matthew, Lindsay and Nicole. Bill is also survived by his close friend and companion Elizabeth and his cherished dog Missey. He successfully owned and operated William Stannard & Sons Construction Company in Delmar for many years, after which his sons Ed and Ken took over the operation of the business. Bill loved his family, enjoyed gardening and camping. At Bill's request there will be no public services Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Company, P.O.
