Wayne F. Wilson

SLINGERLANDS – Wayne F. Wilson, 91, died peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at his home at the Beverwyck with his loving family by his side. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Charles and Elva (Loehndorf) Wilson. Mr. Wilson attended Syracuse University where he earned his degree in electrical engineering. He worked for over forty years as an engineer with Western Electric. Mr. Wilson was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the First Lutheran Church of Albany. Loving husband of Marjorie (Voigt) Wilson; father of Elizabeth Ann (Richard) Nylund of Babylon, NY, James Wilson of East Greenbush and Nancy Wilson of Delmar; brother of Betty Burns of California; grandfather of Katharine, Steven and Scott. Mr. Wilson is also survived by two nieces. All services will be private.
