Vito Marino Logrillo, 76, of Delmar, NY passed away, Friday, December 14, 2012, at Mt.Greylock Extended Care Facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Vito was born January 5, 1936 in Nothampton, MA, to Vito and Julia (Ingellis) Logrillo. He graduated from Northampton High School, and joined the US military prior to attending the University of Michigan. He then married Catherine Louise Flynn in 1956. Vito, a bio statistician, was employed with the New York State Department of Health, the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and as a visiting professor at Union College. He enjoyed traveling and fishing. He also enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with his children.
Vito is survived by his three daughters, Michelle Deleskiewcz (Ted) of Greenville, NY, Marina Dowling (Jim) of Sanibel, Florida and Geraldine Logrillo LaDuke (Scott) of Glenmont, New York ; his sister, Anne Conz of Northampton, MA; four grandchildren, Tiffany Thompson, Maura Dowling, James Dowling and Emily LaDuke and three great grandchildren, Christopher Adams, Nelia Thompson, and Aaron Thompson. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine in 1998.

A celebration of life service will be held at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar, on Wednesday, December19, 2012 at 10:00 am, Pastor Mark Mueller will be officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont, NY. Friends may call Tuesday, December 18th from 4:00p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
