Vito A. Balnys

Vito A. Balnys, has peacefully passed away at the age of 79. He was born on August 21, 1944, in Lithuania and he lived a fulfilling life until his passing on June 12, 2024.

Throughout his career as a bus driver for the Greyhound Bus Company, Vito touched the lives of many with his kindness and professionalism.

Vito will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Fran, and was preceded in death by his father Walter and mother Elena.

A visitation to honor Vito's life will take place on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home in Delmar, NY.  A prayer service will be held at the beginning of the visitation at 5:00 PM, officiated by Fr. Rick Lesser, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Delmar.

The interment ceremony will follow the next day on Tuesday, June 18th at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA, starting at 2:00 PM.

Vito A. Balnys will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work and for the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
