Thelma M. Davis

ALBANY- Thelma M. Davis, 94 passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Poughkeepsie she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Hazel (Gould) Phinney. Mrs. Davis worked for over 25 years at St. Lukes Hospital in Newburgh. After retirement, she worked as a foster grandparent. She was predeceased by her husband, William McNair, her lifelong companion, James Davis and siblings, Evelyn Monk, and Harold, Hazel, Howard and Shirley Phinney Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Dianne Davis of Albany, Darell Davis of Albany, Craig Davis of Ky., Franklin "Benji" Davis of PA and Stacie Davis of Albany; her grandchildren Jorita, Keva, Megan, Alaya, Darrell, II and Ryan. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1pm in the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A calling hour will be held prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.
