Sharon R. McCarthy

DELMAR- Sharon R. Nettleton McCarthy, 60, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Rita M. Nettleton. Sharon was a graduate of Vincentian Institute in Albany and a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Wife of Timothy P. McCarthy; mother of Shannon (Joseph) Montaldo of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Megan McCarthy of Albany, Seamus McCarthy of Westerlo and Maureen McCarthy of Glenmont; sister of Maureen (Frank) Callander of West Palm Beach, FL, William (Bridget) Nettleton of Troy, Laure (Clark) Donkin of Plymouth, MA, Lisa (Larry) Ames of Berkshire, NY and Brian Nettleton of Saratoga; grandmother of Rhiannon, Liam, Joseph, Amelia and Roman. Sharon is also survived by several nieces, nephews and members of the McCarthy Family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Tuesday from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
