Sarah Williams

SELKIRK - Sarah "Faye" Williams, 76, of Selkirk, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Albany Medical Center. Born in La Follette, TN on April 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Jessie James and Lula (Freeman) Lawson. Faye loved to garden and cook and had worked as a cook for over 30 years at the Selkirk YMCA. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Williams and grandmother of the late Shawn and Zachary. Survivors include her children, Sarah "Frankie" Ross (Dan) of Coeymans Hollow, Connie Kot (Larry) of Selkirk and Jessie Williams of Selkirk and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 12 to 1 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Spirit Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont.
