Ruth Mary Mudge

DELMAR- Ruth (Hopkins) Mudge passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, in her 100th year. Born February 5, 1915 in Unionville to Clinton and Olive (Turner) Hopkins, she never lived more than a mile from the house where she was born. Ruth was married to the late John C. Mudge for 61 years. She is survived by her son Jeffrey and his wife Deborah and grandsons John and James. Ruth was the oldest and longest tenured member of the Unionville Reformed Church and a past matron of OES. She loved to go camping with her late husband and myriad of friends who have gone before her. Ruth had the opportunity to have a quality and quantity of life. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 4 to 7pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 11am in Unionville Reformed Church. Interment will be in Onesquethaw Cemetery. Refreshments and fellowship will be held at the church following the interment. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to Unionville Reformed Church, 1134 Delaware Tpk.
