Rosemary “Rose” Frazier, 72, passed away peacefully at the St. Peter’s Hospice Inn on Thursday, August 29, 2019.
Rose was born on August 23, 1947 in Albany, NY. She was the daughter of Stan & Rita Gecewicz. She lived in Delmar, NY where she raised 4 children whom she loved dearly. She loved her family so much, especially getting to spend time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Her body grew tired and she was ready to be set free of the pain. She was greeted at the gates of heaven by not only her mom and dad but many family members and friends who had gone before her. She was loved so much by her many care takers and friends at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center where she lived for the past year.
She is survived by her 4 children, Thomas Frazier, Jr. (Jill), James Frazier, Marie Spain (Bob) and Lori Haertel (Mike), her Brother, Michael Gecewicz (Barbara Frankel), her 9 grandchildren James (Von), Trent (Makayla), Logan, Brendan, Emma, Colby, Rachael, Averi and Mackenzie who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her grand dogs Bella, Stella, Sophie, Guinness and Lucky and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to thank Kelly Gebhardt, Nicole Trudell, Nurses and aides on the Fatima wing at OLOM, Val Newell, Pastor Mark Mueller, Jessy Wilson and Liz Christie, the Hospice nurse that was by mom’s side as she took the last step of her journey.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday, September 6th from 5 to 7 pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave., Delmar. A memorial service will be held at the Church on Saturday, September 7th at 10 am.
