Rosemary Brennan

DELMAR - Rosemary (Rockford) Brennan, 88, passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2012. Rosemary was a graduate of Northampton High School, Northampton, MA and Smith College. She earned a Master's degree from the Teachers College at Columbia University. Prior to coming to Albany, she lived in New York City and worked as an administrative assistant in one of Nelson Rockefeller's non-profit organizations. In Albany she worked for the NYS Dept. of Labor for 25 years in various capacities in personnel retiring in 1986. Rosemary was active in volunteer efforts over the years, most recently at St. Peter's Hospital. She was a member of the Smith College Club of Albany. Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Brennan and is survived by two nephews, Wallace and Robert Brennan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 8:30 am Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
