Married July 12, 1945, she and husband, Jesse spent most of their lives in Delmar with their 3 children.

Rose felt very blessed for her loving family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time together, especially with her precious grandchildrenreferring to them as "Gifts from God". Rose, a gifted artist accompanied by a sister and a brother, traveled to Medjugorje where she offered her talents to help restore and paint many religious statues and large murals in local Catholic churches. She was a deeply spiritual woman, living her life with the knowledge that all things were possible with God.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Jesse F. Turner, Jr; Mother of Jeanne C. Turner of Delmar, Jesse F. Turner, III of Feura Bush, and Jill M. Mengel of Westerlo; Grandmother of Jesse F. Turner, IV, Kristen Byrns, Kevin (Holly) Byrns; Great-Grandmother of Samantha Rose Mengel and Elizabeth Rose Byrns. Rose is also survived by a sister, Mary (Corbett) Berger of Grafton, NY and Bunnell, FL. Rose was predeceased by her sisters, Jeanne, Gabrielle, Theresa and her brothers, John, James and Thomas.
Rose's family would like to thank the caring staff of the Barnwell Nursing Home for the compassion they showed her while in their care.
