SELKIRK - Robert W. Siler, 82, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born in Yakima, Washington on August 27, 1930, he was the son of the late L. James and Dessie (Kelley) Siler and brother of Jean Martin. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1957 and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Mr. Siler was an engineer for Conrail retiring in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Joan F. Siler; children, Barbara A. Siler and Judith A. Siler, both of Selkirk and Thomas W. Siler (Joan) of Dover, DE; and grandchildren, Anne M. Siler of Selkirk and Kyle M. Siler of Dover, DE. Mr. Siler was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Siler (U.S. Navy, retired).
