ROCHESTER - On October 30th, age 79, Regina Ann Cerulli, daughter of Katherine and John Owens, died after a heroic battle with Alzheimer's Disease. A woman of tremendous faith, she maintained her warmth, compassion and humor throughout her illness. Regina left this earth peacefully in her sleep, after celebrating her 55th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband, John Cerulli, Jr. (Stamford, CT). Regina was the loving mother of John (Donna), Catherine (Chris), Christopher, and Jennifer Pagnotta (Paul). Grandmother to the Lucky 7: Michael and Owen Thomas of Rochester, NY; John, Madeline and Samantha Cerulli of Holliston, MA; and Kaley and Katie Pagnotta of Selkirk, NY. Regina was predeceased by her loving sister Noreen Considine, her caring brother Peter Owens and his wife, Dolores. She is survived by her in-laws James Considine, Grace Suppa, Angie Calka and Lucy Cerulli. Regina was also an amazing cousin and aunt to many nieces, nephews. Calling hours are Fri. Burial will be Mon., Nov. 7, 10:30am at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871. A Rochester memorial mass will be held on Sat. Nov. 26, 11 am, at St. Thomas Church, 2000 Highland Ave, Rochester, NY 14618, followed by a reception at the church. The family wishes to thank the Landing of Brighton for their loving care and filling mom's final year with music and joy, as well as the Highland Hospital and Hospice staff for easing mom's final journey. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester, Inc. Her generous spirit and charitable nature will be remembered by many, as her door was always open to friends and strangers alike.
