Peggy Anne MacKrell

DELMAR - Peggy Anne MacKrell died on December 23, 2017. She was born on January 12, 1967 in New York, NY. Peggy is survived by her husband Patrick, her children James and Keagan, stepchildren Leslie (Desiree) and Meghan, her grandsons Wyatt and Rowan, her mother and father, Sal and Rose Tassone, her brother Sal Tassone (Karen), many aunts, uncles and cousins in America and Ireland, and her constant companion Bailey. Peggy was a cherished wife, a loving mother and a terrific friend to many. She was a fantastic partner and soulmate to her husband Patrick and always claimed it was love at first sight. Peggy carefully and lovingly guided James and Keagan and always had them uppermost in her mind and in her heart. She helped them achieve goals large and small and devoted her life to them. She will always be by their side. Peggy took particular pleasure in watching Keagan cheer at Providence College and hearing about James' college stories at Northeastern. She always knew the right thing to say and the right thing to wear! She was an avid shopper and could always be counted on to search for the right item at the right price….a pastime she particularly enjoyed with her mother Rose. She was also particularly fond of Sunday dinners at her parents, golfing with Pat and James, spending time shopping and talking on the phone with her friend Andrea (Andy) Crawford, and the long walks and talks she shared with her friend Beth Carpinello—both of whom, along with many other wonderful friends, stood closely by her in recent months. Peggy will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 29th from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, December 30th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
