Patricia A. Padula

Patricia A. Padula, 81, of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Born in Cohoes, NY on July 6, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emilia (Mazula) Liberty.  A graduate of Catholic Central High School, she worked for the NY Telephone Co. for 17 years and Bethlehem Central School District for 10 years.  For many years, she was a caretaker/babysitter for many children in the town of Bethlehem.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and “Nama” to her three grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Mark Padula (Mary Kennedy), Matthew Padula and Melissa McElroy (Sean); grandchildren, Samantha, Ava and Lana McElroy; sisters, Mary Lou Gyves, Kathy Rench and Charlene Arabio; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald A. Padula.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 1 to 3 pm at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am Monday September 13, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar.  Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
