Patricia L. Metz

GLENMONT- Patricia L. Metz, 81, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at her home. Born in Seattle, WA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Gertrude (Langlois) Johnston; wife of the late Harlen W. Metz, Jr.; mother of the late Henry "Duff" Wyatt; and sister of the late Anna Mae Martin, Shirley Regnier and Steven Reed. Pat had worked as a secretary and bookkeeper with her husband in their family business, H.W. Metz General Contracting, for many years. She loved animals and boating and enjoyed going to NASCAR races. She was the loving aunt, best friend and "mother" to Kimberly (Gene) Martin; beloved aunt to Christine Myers, Mark Perkins, Mike Perkins, Bryan (Robin) Moraski, Jim (Ila) Cornell, Renee (Marty) Minto, Peter (Marybeth) Regnier, Michelle Nolan and Richard Regnier; and sister in law of Dick Regnier and Laura Reed. She was also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 4pm in the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 2 to 4 pm. Those who wish may send memorial donations to Community Hospice of Albany County, or ASPCA, or the Alzheimer's Assoc.
