CLARKSVILLE - On March 3rd Norma Christine "Chris" Miller passed from this life surrounded by the light and love of her family and friends.
Chris was born the daughter of Lillian and Phillipe Crossland in Yorkshire, England. She worked as a professional tailoress until she met and married the love-of-her life and husband, Earl Miller. Chris was a thoughtful and loving giver. She shared her love of cooking and gardening, sprinkled with a sense of humor. She was always there for anyone, with anything, whether it was a hug, a laugh, or a glass of wine. Her definition of family was all encompassing.
Her circle of love included her girls, Diane (Jack) Chaskey, Kimberly Miller, Lynn (David) Andersen, her grandchildren Caitlyn and Taylor Chaskey, sisters Alma Pearson and Thelma Crossland (both predeceased), her sister-law Karen Miller, her brother-in-law Thomas Sansone, her niece and nephew Lisa and Brian, her love-them-as-her-own "sister" Judi VonRonne, and her husband, Ronnie, Mikko, Shannon, Tony and her God-child, Krista, and the grand-dogs, Oliver, Marlo and Geri.
Earl and her girls would like to invite family and friends to come and call on them at the Applebee Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Prayers to wing Chris on her way will be performed on Friday at the funeral home at 10:30 am followed by entombment at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
