Myra Neumann

COEYMANS HOLLOW - Myra Diane Neumann, 74, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany on August 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ward and Myra (Myer) Geeseman, wife of the late Frederick C. Neumann and sister of the late Marshall H. Geeseman. Survivors include daughter, Catherine D. (Philip) Bouchard; son, Frederick W. (Amy) Neumann; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Geeseman; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and nieces and nephews. Diane worked for 17 years as a school bus aide for RCS where she enjoyed being both a mentor and a friend to the children. A Christian woman, Diane was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, whose family was the focus of her life. She was an avid reader, artist and craftswoman who had a love for animals and nature. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 11am to 1 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
