Mildred J. Gadomski

GLENMONT – Mildred "Millie" Gadomski, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 29, 2015. Born in Gates, WV on March 19, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kormen. Mildred worked for the Albany County Comptroller' Office for 35 years retiring in 1984. She enjoyed traveling and painting and was an inspiration to her family. She loved her dogs Lady, Zac and Teddy and was an avid Yankees fan. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Gadomski; and siblings, Helen Telfer, Sophie Bezak, Mary Tromski, Walter Korman, John and Walter Korman and Jennie Janowski. She is survived by her children, Alex Gadomski of Frederick, MD and Alice Cirillo (Michael) of Glenmont; her grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Gadomski (Don) of Altadena, CA, Jacqueline Gadomksi-Gibbons (Rick) of Frederick, MD, Kim Wickham (Dean) of Glenmont and Todd Cirillo of Saratoga Springs; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many health care workers who assisted over the years. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, Dec. 3rd from 9:30 to 10 am at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her nephew Fr. Tom Zelker at 10:30 am Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Glenmont.
