Merle Barber

CLARKSVILLE - Merle D. Barber, 89, of Clarksville died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center. Born in Westerlo on August 10, 1922, he was the son of the late Casper and Maisel E. (Shufelt) Barber. Merle was in partnership with his brother, Milton, who predeceased him, in operating a dairy farm and egg production and home delivery business, which was started by their father in 1927. Burial will be private in Westerlo Rural Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
