DELMAR- Mary E. Vitillo, 90 died Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Pellegrino and Stella (Pomarico) Michele.
Mrs. Vitillo worked as a cook and baker for the Bethlehem Central School District for over 20 years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
Mrs. Vitillo is survived by her husband Otto A. Vitillo; son Otto D. (Linda) Vitillo; granddaughter Marieann (Anthony) DeAngelis; sister Violet Michele; brother-in-law Ralph (Marie) Vitillo; sisters-in-law Lucy (the late Peter) Verardiand, Mimi Michele and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vitillo was predeceased by her son James and brother Micheal Michele.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Thursday, March 13,2014 from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 9:30am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams PL. Delmar. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
