M. Robert Rivenburgh

DELMAR – M. Robert Rivenburgh passed away at home on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Bob graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in 1958, from Siena College in 1963 with a BA in Sociology and from SUNY Albany in 1969 with a MSW. He worked for the NYS Division for Youth for 33 years holding various positions. Bob began as a Youth Counselor at Camp Cass, served as Facility Director of Camp Cass and later as Facility Director of Tryon Residential Center. He retired as Deputy Director in 1995. He is survived by his wife Gloria, children Rob, John and Lisa and grandchildren, Sean, Brielle, Jordan and Taylor. Bob loved fishing, boating on Lake George and the New England Patriots. Bob’s family would like to thank Community Hospice of Albany and his nieces, Debbie, Sherry and Karen and daughter-in-law Kelly for the unending love, devotion and support they afforded him during his illness.
