Linda J. Ashline

Linda Jean Ashline passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Born on October 14, 1956, she is the daughter of Elena Rissacher and the late Jean Rissacher. She is the cherished mother of three children, Glenn (Fabiola) Ashline, Marie (Michael) Zabinski, and Michael Ashline and four granddaughters Emma, Isla, Ava, and Ella. Throughout Linda’s career she held positions at the New York State Assembly and Office of the Mayor during Michael Bloomberg’s administration. After retiring she contributed to the community by establishing the Albany Myeloma Support Group. She took pride in her career and helping others. Linda was happiest spending time with her children and granddaughters. Her love was unconditional and limitless. It was expressed through her affection, positive energy, and beautiful smile. She taught her family values that they could pass on to their children. Her strength, goodwill, and beauty were rare and truly special. A private service will be held on Wednesday, March 17th.
