Kathryn Caswell

FEURA BUSH - Kathryn A. Caswell, 75, of Feura Bush died on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born November 18, 1936 in Catskill, she grew up in Oak Hill, the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Busch) Vincent. Kathryn was retired from Woolworth's in Delmar and had been a longtime member of the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary. She was a member of the Unionville Reformed Church and its Women's Guild and was the president of the New Scotland Senior Citizens. Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, John W. Caswell; son, John W. Caswell, Jr. and sisters, Joyce Lotz and Shirley Winnie. Survivors include her daughters, Donna M. Beckwith and husband, Frank of West Sand Lake and Deborah A. Van Alstyne and husband, Michael of Voorheesville; daughter-in-law, Linda M. Caswell of Feura Bush; twin sister, Karolyn Bogardus of NH; brother-in-law, Robert Caswell of East Berne; grandchildren, Ashley Beckwith, Brian and Amanda Caswell and Nicholas and Michelle Van Alstyne; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A funeral service will be held 10 am Wednesday at the Unionville Reformed Church. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
