Karen E. Conley

SLINGERLANDS – Karen Caffrey Conley, 52, left us on March 16, 2016. Karen was born October 8, 1963, and grew up in Saugerties, NY. She resided in Slingerlands with her husband, Rick and their two children, Rachel and Jacqueline. Karen graduated from Utica College and was employed at Albany Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Conley, Jr. and her children, Rachel and Jacqueline; her mother, Georgiana Caffrey; her brother, Patrick Caffrey and his wife Mary Catherine; her sister Meg Lezette and her husband Karl; parents- in- law, Mary Jane and Richard A. Conley, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Patty Stone and her husband Larry and Kelly Cruikshank; five nieces, Jacqueline Lezette, Samantha Caffrey, Ella, Lillian and Sadie Stone; four nephews, Michael and Daniel Caffrey, Kevin and Jon Lezette; and her beloved dog, Grady. She also leaves behind a loving circle of friends and extended family. Karen is predeceased by her sister, Jacqueline Caffrey and her father, Frank Caffrey. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 19th from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar.
