Joseph L. Lengfellner

BOSTON, MA – Joseph L. Lengfellner, 59, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on August 30, 2016. Born in Altoona, PA on September 27, 1956, he was the son of Hilda Lengfellner of Clearfield, PA and the late Joseph Lengfellner. A graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, he worked for Conrail and CSX for 38 years. At the time of his death, Joseph was employed at Keolis Commuter Service in Somerville, MA and was planning to retire on his 60th birthday. He was an avid golfer, Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his mother, he is survived by five children, Joseph, Joshua, Jenna, Jason, and Jessica; six grandchildren, Jackson, Molly, Abigail, Grayson, Maddelyn and Ella; a sister, Linda Robinson; his former wife, Jennifer King; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 6th from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A memorial service will be held 10 am, Wednesday, Sept. 7th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Those who wish may send a remembrance in his name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
