John C. Relation

Glenmont; John Relation, 84, passed away on May 24 at his home, peacefully. John was born in Albany, NY on March 24, 1937 to Alfred and Mildred Relation. John worked for nine years at Williams Press before taking a position with the Printing Plant in the NYS Department of Education, retiring after 20 years. Although John enjoyed doing yard work and tinkering for many hours in his garage, most of all he loved his life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 36 years. He was frequently seen at the Kingdom Hall greeting all those who entered, and enjoyed sharing the Bible's hope for the future with the nurses and others who cared for him. John was predeceased by his brother Alfred aka Sonny, and his sister Eleanor. He is survived by Marian, his loving wife of 35 years, by siblings Richard (Lana) Relation, and Laura (Paul) Vergoni, step-daughters Veronica and Judy Tansey, and several nieces and nephews.  Services are private.
