Jeanne C. Turner

DELMAR - Jeanne Catherine Turner, born 08/04/1949, passed peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Jeanne, a Delmar resident, graduated from BCHS in 1967, and retired from the USPS in 2005. She enjoyed her home, the family's summer home in Raquette Lake, and numerous trips to Florida. Jeanne was predeceased by her loving parents, Jesse F. Turner, Jr. and Rose M. (Corbett) Turner, and is survived by her brother, Jesse F. Turner, III (Jane), sister, Jill M. Turner Mengel (Robert), and loving companion, Ernie Storm. Also survived by her loving nieces, Kristen Byrns and Samantha Mengel, loving nephews, Jesse F. Turner, IV (Kathleen) and Kevin Byrns (Erin), and loving grand nieces, Elizabeth Byrns and Ellie Turner. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Services will be private with a celebration of her life to follow at a later date.
