Jean K. Bylsma

DELMAR- Jean K. Bylsma, 93, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Jean was born in Albany in 1923, the daughter of the late Allen and Edith Herber. Jean is predeceased by her sister, Louise and the love of her life, John R. Bylsma, Sr. They had been married for 70 years. Together they had five children, Merelyn J. (David) Stewart, John R. (Vicki) Bylsma, Steven M. (Karen) Bylsma, Kim R. Bylsma (Kim) and Bobbi K. (Tom) Racicot. Jean is also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Susan Bylsma (Kim) and son-in-law, James Thompson (Bobbi). Jean lived with her husband in Delmar and at Lake Onderdonk in Berne. In addition to her children, Jean is survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at 3W of St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and loving care that they showed our mom at all times; they were wonderful.
