James J. Gallogly

FEURA BUSH- James J. Gallogly, 68 passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at his home. Born on September 15, 1947, Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Julia (Herlehey) Gallogly. He was a proud US Navy veteran. Jim loved spending time with his children, James (Sherri), Michael, Sean (Melissa), Kristin (Ed) Donohue and Kathryn (Howie) Vagele and his beloved grandchildren, Madison, Howie, Alyssa, Ava, Eddie, Henry, Alexis, Colin, Hudson, Evin, Sean, Gavin and Harrison. He devoted his entire life to his family. There were many happy times mixed in with the sadness of his illness. Jim's children and grandchildren in return, never left his side, never complained, only providing him laughter, comfort and support during his courageous battle with cancer. With every visit they brought him the most precious gift of all, love. Jim was a very devoted husband, leaving behind to carry forward his love of family, his wife of 48 years, Raydeen (Dedrick) Gallogly, high school sweethearts, best friends always. He is also survived by his sister Julia Gallogly, brother John (Toni) Gallogly and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 9:30am in the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Calling hours will be held privately. Interment will follow the Mass in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Thomas the Apostle Church Pastoral Care Program, in recognition of the family's dear friend Sr. Mary Frederick Coine would be greatly appreciated.
