James A. Chesky

James A. Chesky, Age 77, entered into eternal life Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  Born in Hartford, CT he was the son if the late Frank Chesky, Sr. and Eulah Donouk Chesky.

James was a US Air Force Veteran serving honorably from 1965 to 1985 retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. James was employed as a store manager for the former Huck Finn Furniture and later by Old Brick Furniture until his retirement. He had a passion for gardening and enjoyed wood working, and online Cribbage with his son.  

Beloved husband of the late Joan “Jonie” Haines; loving father of Phillip Chesky of Mountain Top, PA and Peter Chesky of Philadelphia, PA and Clifford Chesky of Albany, NY; cherished grandfather of Mary, Christina, Matthew, Jonathan and Nathaniel. In addition to his wife James was predeceased by his brother the late Frank Chesky, Jr.

The family will receive visitors at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 11:00 to 12:00pm followed by inurnment in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
