James Carusone

1984 — January 23, 2014

DELMAR - James Andrew Carusone, 29, of Delmar, passed away suddenly on the evening of Thursday, January 23rd due to natural causes. He was born on Christmas Eve, 1984. James is survived by his loving family, parents Susan and Leonard Carusone, Sr.; siblings, Claudia (Eugenia Kozlowski), Leonard, Jr. (Jodie), Liza Cline (Benjamin) and Joseph (Sadrina Burney); his grandmother, Olive Champine; niece Kailee and nephews John, Nico and Colton. Also surviving are his beloved girlfriend, Ashley Blaylock, their rescue cat, Pop Tarts, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. James was a graduate of The College of St. Rose in Albany and was employed as a Traffic Manager by Clear Channel Communications in Latham, NY. He enjoyed all sports, but he was a great fan of the New York Yankees and New England Patriots and particularly loved watching those games. James had a lively mind and was always up for a debate or discussion on sports or politics. He loved to cook with his girlfriend and to eat out to try new foods. Mostly, though, he loved his family, and his passing leaves a huge hole in a close-knit family. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 27th from 4 to 8 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in James' memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
