James J. Berry

1949 — October 6, 2022

Delmar - James Joseph Berry, age 73, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 6, 2022 while pursuing his love of fly fishing on the Batten Kill River.  Born in Albany, NY, Jim was a lifelong area resident and son of the late Walter and Doris (Seabrook) Berry, Sr.

Cecil.  Following his service he became a member of the Blanchard-Currey Post 1040 American Legion, and maintained his membership to this day. In his professional career Jim held multiple positions, most notably as a manufacturer’s representative in the plumbing and heating industry.  He was a longtime member of Normanside Country Club and a former member of the Delmar Volunteer Fire Dept.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Carol Marino Berry; loving father of Bryan Berry and his wife Sarah of Saratoga Springs and Megan Fargione and her husband Matthew of Slingerlands; brother of Walter Berry, Jr. and his wife Linda, and cherished Papa of Jackson, Charlotte, Noah, Everett and Logan.
