Irene F. Wagner

Irene F. Wagner, born November 13, 1938, in Albany, peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Irene led a life filled with love, joy, and cherished moments. She enjoyed camping and treasured family gatherings. She was a devoted NASCAR enthusiast and her love for travel took her far and wide, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, father August, mother Mildred, sister Marie Dzek, and grandson Jeffery. 

Irene is survived by a loving legacy of family and friends. She is remembered by her sons Bobby (Missy), Joe (Deb), Russell, John (Lori), and bonus son Randy. Additionally, she leaves behind her sisters Margaret Geraldson and Mildred Hughes, five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to especially thank Irene's caregivers, Debbie and Marvia, and the staff of Community Hospice for their love and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 21st from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. The interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Albany on Saturday, June 22nd at 11:00 AM. A procession to the cemetery will form at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM.
