DALTON, MA: Henry W. Radzyminski, 78, of Delmar, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at Craneville Place in Dalton, MA. Born on January 22, 1933, he was the son of the late Waclaw and Jadwiga Radzyminski.
Henry graduated from R.P.I. as an architect and obtained masters degrees from St. Rose College and SUNY Albany. He was an architect for New York State in various capacities with a focus on mental health care facilities, retiring from OMRDD in 1992. He also did private architectural work with his dear friend, Peter W. Pagano of Florida.
Henry was very active in Tri-Village Little League baseball and served as a president. He was a former member of the AIA, the YMSofR, the Polish Citizen's Club and the Masonic Temple Lodge #14. Henry always enjoyed a fun time with family and friends. He loved music, art, golfing and boating. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Henry is survived by his wife, Frances and his children, H. David (Julie), Stephen (Susan), Edward, Eric (Sharon) Radzyminski and Irene Bohuslavsky. Other survivors include his sister Irene (Theodore) Biernacki of Florida, two nephews and a niece. He was "Dziadzi" to Kyle, Corey, Tyler, Kayla, and Emma Radzyminski and Helen Bohuslavsky.
Relatives and friends may call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Virgin Mary of Chestochowa Catholic Church, 250 Maxwell Rd., Latham, NY. Burial will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
