Grace Beatrice Keller

DELMAR - Grace Beatrice Cochran Keller, 93, of Delmar and most recently Guilderland, beloved wife of the late John Carlton Keller, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at her home in Guilderland. Grace was born in Albany on Dec. 10, 1918 and she resided in Delmar with her husband for almost all of their 69 years of married life. She was a nurse at Albany Medical Center for many years. Grace was the devoted mother of Ron C. Keller (Shari) of Guilderland and Carl W. Keller (Sandy) of Jefferson, Texas. She was the adored grandmother of Scott Keller of Albany, Bonnie Keller Biek and Jennifer Keller of Guilderland and Jon Keller of Niskayuna, Brenda Keller Abraham (Donny), Philip Keller and Jeff Keller of Texas. Ten great-grandchildren also survive her. Grace received her Registered Nursing degree from Hinsdale University. Grace and her husband were loving foster parents to 27 children. She was an active member in the Albany and Greater Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church. Grace will be well remembered for inviting friends, family and guests visiting the church to come to her home for a Sabbath dinner. A memorial service will be held at the Greater Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church, St. Agnes Highway, in Cohoes at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 2. An interment service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery located at 680 Delaware Avenue, Albany, on Monday, December 3. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church in memory of Grace Cochran Keller.
